Course Description

CPCS Sideloader Forklift Training gives you the skills and knowledge to safely operate sideloader forklifts.

Choose between our Novice and Experienced courses, based on your current ability.

Pass the theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

You must have passed the CITB Health and Safety Test within the last 2 years.

Activity Instructions

Complete pre-start and running checks. Prepare the forklift for travel.

Pass through a chicane in a forward and reverse direction.

Reverse with a load in a straight line and pass through a restriction.

Reverse up to a structure or object unladen.

Lift and place a load at high level. Retrieve and lower the load.

Stack two loads vertically. De-stack and place in a straight line.

Carry out undercutting by both lifting and placing a load.

Park the forklift. Carry out shut-down and securing procedures.
