What is a CSCS Labourer Card?
The CSCS Labourer Card is an entry-level qualification, specifically designed for construction labourers. The card allows you access on-site to complete unskilled roles and support skilled tradespeople.
Please Note: This card does not grant skilled workers access on-site.
How to Get a CSCS Labourer Card
Step 1: Complete the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test
The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions about health, safety and environmental awareness. The test lasts up to 45 minutes and has a pass mark of 90%.

Step 2: Complete the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
This step is divided into two parts. First is a written portfolio, which asks you to explain how your role complies with health and safety concepts. Second is a 50-question multiple-choice test, testing your knowledge of health and safety on site. Learn more about our CSCS Green Card Course.
