Course Description

Our CPCS Traffic Marshal Course gives you the skills and knowledge to become a plant and vehicle marshal.

Choose between our Novice and Experienced courses, based on your current ability.

Pass the theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

You must have passed the CITB Health and Safety Test within the last 2 years.

Activity Instructions

Assess the given vehicle movement area to ensure suitability.

Use hand signals and radio communication.

Convey movement information at the start and for each activity.

Guide the vehicle from the holing area into the movement area.

Guide the vehicle in reverse through pre-positioned markers.

Reverse the vehicle into an area. This can be working or holding.

Guide the vehicle back to the starting point.

Reverse the vehicle up to a structure.

Stop all vehicle movement when directed to.

Adjust the exclusion zone to accommodate the vehicle size.

Guide the vehicle from the movement area to the holding area.
