Course Description

CPCS Traffic Marshall training teaches you how to safely manage plant and vehicle movement on-site.

This 3-day course is ideal for anyone looking to start a career as a banksman or traffic marshal.

Pass your theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Card.

Activity Instructions

Assess the given vehicle movement area to ensure suitability.

Use hand signals and radio communication.

Convey movement information at the start and for each activity.

Guide the vehicle from the holing area into the movement area.

Guide the vehicle in reverse through pre-positioned markers.

Reverse the vehicle into an area. This can be working or holding.

Guide the vehicle back to the starting point.

Reverse the vehicle up to a structure.

Stop all vehicle movement when directed to.

Adjust the exclusion zone to accommodate the vehicle size.

Guide the vehicle from the movement area to the holding area.
