CPCS Ride on Roller Training Courses are designed for novice and experienced operators wanting to operate ride on roller on construction sites. Pass theory and practical testing to earn a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

You must have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test within the last 2 years.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.
Novice ride on roller training is ideal for beginners. The course covers all the basics in theory and practical training.
This course requires the following personal protective equipment:
If you do not achieve the theory or practical test, we will do our best to re-book at a reduced rate.
Novice ride on roller training takes 3 days. This includes theory and practical training and testing.
The CPCS Red Card is valid for 2 years. Once this expires, you can choose to upgrade to a CPCS Blue Card, valid 5 years.
Roller Operators earn an average of £18.37 per hour, according to Indeed. However, this will depend on what qualifications you hold and how long you have been operating.
To get your CPCS license, you will need to pass theory and practical testing. Take our novice course to receive the training needed to pass the course.
CPCS qualifications are comprised of a spoken theory test and a practical assessment. Don’t worry—our novice course will prepare you with all the training you need.
To upgrade from CPCS Red to Blue, you will need to complete a Level 2 NVQ for Ride on Roller.
