FAQs

We strongly advise that you do not attempt to use a fire extinguisher unless you are trained and competent. However, an untrained person may use a fire extinguisher if it is necessary for escape during a fire evacuation.

You should not attempt to use fire extinguishers on a large fire that has spreading beyond the area it started.
