Course Description

Advance your construction career with an NVQ Level 6 qualification. Demonstrate your skills as an experienced Appointed Person for lifting operations.

Qualifications take place at your worksite and gather a portfolio of evidence to prove your competence. This can be used to earn a CSCS Black Manager Card.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for NVQ Level 6 qualifications. However, we suggest that you have at least 6 months of experience before enrolling.

Course Duration

NVQ Level 6 qualifications can take up to 6 months to complete. This includes collecting evidence, writing the portfolio, and processing the certification.

The CSCS Black Manager Card is designed for those in managerial or advanced technical occupations.

To be eligible for the CSCS Black Card, you must:

•  Achieve the relevant NVQ Level 6

•  Pass the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test

Once complete, you can apply for your CSCS Black Card online.
