Advance your construction career with an NVQ Level 3 qualification. Demonstrate your skills in a particular trade or occupation, with a variety of categories to choose from.
Qualifications take place at your worksite and gather a portfolio of evidence to prove your competence. This can be used to earn a CSCS Gold Skilled Worker Card.
There are no formal entry requirements for NVQ Level 3 qualifications. However, we suggest that you have at least 6 months of experience before enrolling.
NVQ Level 3 qualifications can take up to 6 months to complete. This includes collecting evidence, writing the portfolio, and processing the certification.
During your qualification, our assessor will visit you at work to collect the following evidence:
The CSCS Gold Card can refer to the Supervisory or Skilled Worker cards. This will depend on which Level 3 you complete.
To be eligible for the CSCS Gold Card, you must:
• Achieve the relevant NVQ Level 3
• Pass the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test
Once complete, you can apply for your CSCS Skilled Worker Card online.
The CSCS Skilled Worker Card lasts 5 years from the date of issue.
