Course Description

CPCS Skid Steer Training gives you the skills and knowledge to safely operate skid steers.

Choose between our Novice and Experienced courses, based on your current ability.

Pass the theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

Activity Instructions

Complete pre-start and running checks. Prepare the skid steer for travel.

Travel up and down slopes. Stop and start on the gradient.

Travel over rough terrain. Reverse through a restriction.

Prepare and set the skid steer for the relevant work.

Create an upward ramp using materials from the bank.

Load material into another vehicle.

Clean the work area. Park the skid steer.

Carry out shut-down and securing procedures.
