Course Description

CPCS Ride on Roller Training gives you the skills and knowledge to safely operate ride on rollers.

Choose between our Novice and Experienced courses, based on your current ability.

Pass the theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

Eligibility Criteria

You must have passed the CITB Health and Safety Test within the last 2 years.

Activity Instructions

Complete pre-start checks. Prepare the ride on roller for travel.

Travel up and down slopes. Stop and start on the gradient.

Pass through a restriction in forward and reverse directions.

Drive on uneven ground. Prepare an exclusion zone.

Prepare the ride on roller for the relevant work.

Compact a straight run with supporting and un-supporting edges.

Compact a radius with supporting edge. Park the ride-on roller.

Shut-down and securing procedures.
