Course Description

CPCS Lorry Loader Training gives you the skills and knowledge to safely operate lorry loaders.

Choose between our Novice and Experienced courses, based on your current ability.

Pass the theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

You must have passed the CITB Health and Safety Test within the last 2 years.

Activity Instructions

Complete pre-start and running checks.

Prepare the vehicle and crane for road travel.

Travel to and within the work area. Reverse into a confined space.

Prepare and set the crane and load for each lift.

Lift and place loads onto a vehicle bed. Secure loads for travel.

Remove and place all loads to a different location.

Stow all equipment. Return the vehicle to the park position.

Park the vehicle. Carry out shut-down and securing procedures.
