Course Description

CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper Training provides you with the skills and knowledge to safely operate wheeled forward tipping dumpers.

The novice course is completed over 3 days and includes comprehensive theory and practical training.

Pass the theory and practical testing to achieve your CPCS Red Card.

Learning Objectives

Understand the roles and responsibilities of a forward tipping dumper operator
Identify machine components, controls and safety systems
Conduct daily pre-use checks and basic routine maintenance
Mount, dismount, and operate the forward tipping dumper
Drive forwards, reverse, and manoeuvre up and down slopes
Load, tip, and position materials while maintaining stability
Work safely around site personnel and other plant
Recognise risks and hazards associated with operating the forward tipping dumper
Perform shutdown, parking, and machine isolation procedures

Eligibility Criteria

You must have passed the CITB Health and Safety Test within the last 2 years.
