CPCS Crawler Crane Training gives you the skills and knowledge to become a qualified Lift Supervisor.
Choose between our Novice and Experienced courses, based on your current ability.
Pass the theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.
Eligibility Criteria
You must have passed the CITB Health and Safety Test for Supervisors within the last 2 years.
Crane Supervisors earn an average annual salary of £36K – £58K, according to Glassdoor. However, this will depend on what qualifications you hold and how many years of experience you have.
Crane Supervisors are responsible for coordinating and supervising lifting operations. This includes working alongside the Appointed Person, Slinger Signaller, and Crane Operator.
Many start their careers as Slinger Singaller and progress to Crane Supervisors. This means you can perform both roles, just not at the same time.
To upgrade from CPCS Red to Blue, you will need to complete a Level 4 NVQ in Supervising Lifts.
