Course Description

CPCS Crusher and Screener Training gives you the skills and knowledge to safely operate both crushers and screeners.

Choose between our Novice and Experienced courses, based on your current ability.

Pass the theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

Eligibility Criteria

You must have passed the CITB Health and Safety Test within the last 2 years.

Activity Instructions

Check the machines are stable, level, and configured for duties.

Ensure materials are appropriate for crushing and screening.

Complete pre-start checks as detailed in the operator manuals.

Ensure discharge arears are suitable for receiving materials.

Agree the work process and signals with others involved in the job.

Start the machines. Engage all systems.

Operate the machines until stockpiles are produced.

Screen material into at least three different sizes.

Carry out an emergency stop for each machine.

Clear all materials from the machines and their immediate areas.

Carry out shut down and securing procedures.
