Course Description

CPCS Dozer Training gives you the skills and knowledge to safely operate crawler tractors/dozers.

Choose between our Novice and Experienced courses, based on your current ability.

Pass the theory and practical tests to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

You must have passed the CITB Health and Safety Test within the last 2 years.

Activity Instructions

Complete pre-start and running checks. Prepare the dozer for travel.

Travel to the work area. Travel over rough terrain.

Travel up and down slopes. Pass through a restriction.

Prepare and set the dozer for the relevant work.

Produce a straight trench and form a stockpile.

Side cast materials from the embankment.

Reinstate the work area to its original state.

Park the dozer. Carry out shut-down and securing procedures.
